Nonbinary Flag

A nonbinary person is an individual whose gender identity does not exclusively fall into the binary gender classification of only "man" or "woman". The term can be used as an umbrella term or for a specific identity, and it is best to ask a specific nonbinary person what the term means to them to avoid confusion.
